Breakfast Links: Reaper, Iron Man 2 & Indiana Jones 4

Well you’ll be happy and relieved to know that CW has put in an order for 13 more Reapers. While it isn’t the most fantastic show out there, I still like it alot and recently it’s been on a getting really good trajectory dropping the tired formula that dogged the first many episodes and exploring a lot of neat ideas. It’s well worth watching a few episodes if you haven’t tried yet, even if it’s just to wath Ray Wise. Seriously, they could make it the Ray Wise and Sock show and I’d die a happy man.

In Hollywood news, check it, Iron Man hasn’t even cooled at the box office and already there’s murmurs going on about Iron Man 2! It’s already got a release date?? (April 30th, 2010). Well damn, I loved Iron Man, so sign me up for the sequel. And if you can’t get enough of the movie, here’s an interview with the cast and director! (via) Favreau suggests that he’d love to stay on with a sequel… so… hopefully there it is.

And in more news from over there, you can read about Shia LaBeouf talking about working with Harrison Ford. I mean… honestly, I’m already annoyed with him. He was ok in Transformers, but when did Shia become the next action hero? No, I say. I put my foot down. And so apparently does everyone – with the unsurprising not-great buzz going on around Indy 4, Hollywood’s all worried. And dammit they should be. They need to stop going back to the well.
