Today’s tubebits from sf signal provided a cornucopia of interesting links. Take, for example, this list of the top 10 Most Unjustly Canacelled Series This Decade. Which of course leads with Firefly, seconded by Angel. Honestly, I can’t remember what I thought of Angel ending. I probably was pretty upset. The list gets a little weak after Farscape, but it’s worth a check out. And then there’s talk about Caprica maybe not making it. Again. Annoying, c’mon SciFi, just behave like every other network and order episodes for the season, everything doesn’t have to start with a standalone 2 hour mini-series.

On the other hand, coming to NYC and London are a pair of telescopes to view each other! Nice, straight through the earth. This is, of course, art. Very awesome art. It will arrive on June 15 and provide a 24/hour a day, real-time, life-size view of the other side (y’know, NYC sees London sees NYC). On our side this bad boy is showing up in the Fulton Ferry Landing in Crooklyn. It’ll cost you a pound in London (suckas!), but here in the good ol’ U S of A this bad boy’s going to be free. Pretty freakin’ great.

If viewing a bunch of pasty white people staring back at you doesn’t float your boat, perhaps this gentleman’s collection of airline stewardess uniforms might! Unfortunately all the photos are of manikins (huh, who knew, you can say manikin or mannequin! and manikin also somehow means little man, dwarf or pygmy and mannequin also means great 80’s movie!!). But still. Apparently I haven’t flown on British Airways recently because they finally god rid of that totally pukey weird pattern they were sporting into something 100% less pukey. I hope they also removed the pattern from all the other places in their branding that it showed up. Man, I love BA, but really. Come on.
