High school. You know what high schools are filled with? High school students. Ah the joys of teenage stupidity. Apparently a bunch of brooklyn kids decided it would totally kick ass to spike a cake they made with laxatives and give that to their teachers! This had the hilarious effect of sending two teachers to the hospital! Unsurprisingly the sentiment is divided with some students thinking it was funny and teachers a bit outraged. Sadly the article doesn’t detail the fates of the foolish pranksters.

Oh, and talking about foolish teens, you gotta read this one. I was actually going to make fun of Britain again on this one, because it’s from Gloucester High School, but it turns out that I have to make fun of Americans since it turns out that’s in Massachusetts. Lame. Anyhow, a bunch of students (17 of them) are pregant right now and it turns out that’s because they made a pact to all get pregnant! (via) A bunch of 15 or 16 year olds all made a pact to get pregnant. Roll that around the ol’ noggin. Who the hell makes pacts at that age that aren’t in the movies?? At any age? Oh well. Seriously, read the article it’s filled with other crazy details.

Perhaps when they have their babies they’ll look to the chinese to name them, eh? Chinese people seem to have decided to name more than 4000 kids “Aoyun” which means “Olympic Games.”, that seems like not a great name to have. I mean my name means “Achieves Abundant Martial Arts”, right? That kicks ass. Funny thing is my lovely wife tells me that in Colombia some kids get the names of USNavy (pronounced oos-nahvee) and OneDollar (oh-ney-dahjar), which is definitely worse than Olympic Games. And back to the chinese and their names, check out this piece on how they name their food and how they’re renaming them for foreigners. (via) Such appetizing names meaning “husband and wife’s lung slice” is going to become the much less exciting “beef and ox tripe in chili sauce.” Bo-ring.
