So apparently NASA just completed a test of a new fancy engine that blows up it’s fuel to make things go really, really fast. This is the step to working on Blackswift a new Mach 6 jet to maybe replace the SR71. Plus the simulation in that fox video makes the thing look super cool, kinda like a space shuttle if a space shuttle was a sleek, black, supersonic machine.

If that’s a little too high flying for you, perhaps an Aptera would be more your speed. (via) This car that seems like it’s actually going to come out could get something like 230 miles per gallon in it’s hybrid model. Top speed 85mph isn’t bad with a range of 190 miles. Thing looks kinda like one of those crazy solar race cars, or maybe a cross between a Prowler and an egg. Or something. This bad boy will cost you $30k and get you zero storage, Smart car style. You can check out a video of a testdrive if you’re down for this thing.

And if even that is too much for you, well, check out the soon to actually be released Nike McFly sneakers! I know we’ve chatted about the McFly’s before, but that was when it was untrue. This relic from Back To The Future II will, unfortunately, only serve as the inspiration for this forthcoming limited edition sneaker, but even so the 2015’s look pretty sweet. I bet they’ll make a bunch of these and sell them for a mind numbing amount. That’s how the limited edition sneaker community rolls. Sigh.
