Whedon does Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
Somehow, and I’m still trying to grasp how this is possible - I strongly suspect some “laws of nature” will turn out to be not so much laws but guidelines, I did not know about Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Thankfully, the ever informative See What’s in my Brain has rectified this situation most thoroughly.
Conceived in the fires of the writers’ strike, this project spearheaded by Joss Whedon has this goal:
The idea was to make it on the fly, on the cheap – but to make it. To turn out a really thrilling, professionalish piece of entertainment specifically for the internet. To show how much could be done with very little. To show the world there is another way. To give the public (and in particular you guys) something for all your support and patience. And to make a lot of silly jokes. Actually, that sentence probably should have come first.
Really, though, all you need to know is that it’s Joss, NPH and Nathan Fillion on the project and that should be enough for anyone. The teaser isn’t overly revealing, but I guess that’s why they call it a teaser.

Oh, and it’s going to show on these dates, just so you can add them into your schedule.
