Escalator hits reverse and takes out 20!
Huh, check out this footage of an escalator in Tokyo (i.e. packed to the gills with people, seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an escalator so full) that suddenly decides it’s done being the up escalator and suddenly decides that the down escalator shouldn’t be the only one to have fun and damn it it’s going to go down to. Mass confusion occurs - someone apparently broke a leg! Pretty crazy, I like the fellows jumping over the rails and what not, that’s how you gotta roll.

You gotta admit the civic reaction and everyone getting in on the pulling people outta the way happened pretty damn quick.
UPDATED: Whoops, I put elevator everywhere instead of escalator. You know. That’s what happens when you don’t go to school, kids, you get dumm like uncle felix. Thanks, Brian for pointing it out.
