Ok. Is there even one note of good news for the US economy? This crap is getting crazy. What with Chinese regulators telling their banks they can’t lend to the US, WaMu failing and getting snatched up by JP Morgan and that bringing the cold light of impending doom onto other banks like Wachovia and Bank of America? When our president is telling us that “this sucker could go down” and our secretary of the treasury is going down on one knee to beg for support… is it time to move to New Zealand? I mean… WTF?

Sigh. But here’s something that will brighten your day. It’s now being reported that “The Wonderful Maladys”, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, is being fast tracked to air on HBO. It will hopefully be good and turn into a series of half-hour programming. Even if it happens it won’t even start shooting till next year (ok, that’s oddly right around the corner…), so who knows what’ll happen. Hopefully it’s good.

And lastly, if you need to stock up for food because of the impending economyacalypse, well, perhaps McDonalds burgers are the way to go. Check out this post that shows a 12 year old burger looking as brand new as a 1 day old one. Ok, that’s kinda the opposite point of what the post is trying to make… you generally would like to believe that the meat and bread you are eating is biodegradable, no? Apparently McDonalds has a burger that just keeps on going…

Z-Rox update: Ok, so I’m still sorta playing Z-Rox. But I’ve spent several minutes trying to comprehend Level 53 and it eludes me. So, you know… feel free to spoil that one for me (but only that level!).
