Marvel’s Enders Game comic preview

Huh, I didn’t even know this was happening, but Marvel seems to be adapting Ender’s Game into a series coming out tomorrow. I have very mixed feelings about all this and all in all, I think I kinda wish that this wasn’t happening. Ender’s Game, if you haven’t read it, is one of the greatest sci-fi novels of all times. (I may be alone, but I quite enjoyed the following two books as well, once I got over the initial wanting an Ender’s Game II and III. The newest books are simply fun but popcorny reading.)

I’ll probably end up picking it up, or maybe waiting for the first trade paper to see how it is. You can check out the first 10 pages on io9. They seem to be out of order? Or else the comic is really, really confusing. I don’t seem to be particularly impressed by anything I saw. It does, however, make me want to read the novel again. Anyhow, what’s your take on all this? Have you read the novel? Looking forward to the comic?

So, I don’t know. Ender’s Game: Battle School, gets a raised eyebrow and maybe a few dollars to check it out, but I’m not overly hopeful.
