Breakfast Links: Gladwell on Teachers, Whedon makes Moist’s comic & SeppuKuties

So Gladwell, I’m honestly not sure if I like his work or dislike it. At least, though, his work is always interesting his latest piece in the New Yorker doesn’t disappoint. In it he says that of all the factors involved in getting a good education having good teachers is pretty much the only worthwhile factor. The focus should be not on class size or whatever, but in hiring better teachers. Of course the trick there is that, well, it’s difficult to find good teachers. Still, it sounds like a damn good idea to me.

Now if you’ve not had enough of Dr. Horrible you can continue the fun with the web comic Moist: Humidity Rising. Penned by Zack Whedon it’s eight pages of strangely silly-serious fun. An origins story, I won’t ruin no nothin’ for you.

And lastly, it’s been awhile, but here’s a flash game for you SeppuKuties. Filled with overly cute animals, you go through the boards trying to save your forest. The twist? Well, the boards require sacrifice of you – several of your moves involve jumping these Kuties to their deaths so that the others can go on. You have to play through a few levels to see this in action but it’s kinda funny and strangely compelling. Heh!
