Morning Thought: The downside of optimism?

So I’m having this thing now where every tuesday I think it’s friday and every sunday I think it’s saturday. Let me tell you. That sucks. What up with that, brain? I imagine this springs forth from my eternal well of hope, but it’s like an anti-evolutionary trait, dig? I mean, because it actually makes tuesday and sunday a little worse by their sudden, and unfair, comparison to the kings of days. I mean, tuesday and sunday have their own special place in the pantheon of days – just because they aren’t friday and saturday doesn’t mean they aren’t perfectly good days. Anyways, I think that this particular facet of optimism sucks. Does that happen to you?
