Afternoon Awesome! A pizza wit’ nuuuttin??

So I was chatting with Gwen yesterday and as it inevitably does, for some reason, we started talking about TV in the olden days and that led to the singing of “pahhtee, pizza pahhtee” which then led to incredulously asking for a pizza with nuuutinn…

They just don’t make commercials like they used to!

I also admit that in my memory “party, pizza party” was somehow a teenage mutant ninja turtles commercial – but in fact it’s a for a non-turtle related board game! Who knew??

  • Wow! I totally forgot about Mickey, come over for a potty!! I had some good laughs about that... you know.... because he says party like potty! POTTY! Gosh. I was like what, 18? ;)

    ALSO I'd say the "Belissimo! Magnifique! Ce Ce Bon!" Pretty much the entire commercial, really.

    OK, my sister and I used to say (and still do say) that "NUTTin?!" thing like all the time. That was a special twin reference for us! And now I buy Polly-O string cheese for my children. I'm old!

    Also I thought that "Party, Pizza Party" thing might've been from "Mickey come over for a party!" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0PAVZJhtx8) but it was something else I'd somehow never seen even though I'm the same age as you and we grew up in the same television market. Weird!
