Breakfast Links: RunPee.com, Tweeting Too Hard & iPhone NG

Just saw a bunch of feeds talking about RunPee.com. (via) This site tells you when it would be a good time during a movie to run and pee. Awesome, right? It’s got a spoiler friendly feature where it gives you a sort of approximate time and basic description of the scene after which you should make your run but also a more in depth spoilery version to make sure you know what the scene is. You click to unscramble and read. Pretty good stuff, it just has one fatal flaw… they should make a mobile version of that badboy so you know… when that urging strikes you can find out on the spot.

Another site that’s been making the rounds is Tweeting Too Hard, which is sort of like digg for really large ego’d tweets. You vote single tweets up or down to see who thinks they’re the most important tweeter, or at least more important than you. A lot of it is out of context and probably not actually that bad, but some of them… well, it’s difficult to imagine a context where:

I’m about to go save up to 3 lives. What are YOU doing today?

is ok… It is a wierd tweet, though, right? Up to 3 lives? I mean, isn’t that weird? Or this one:

OMG i was saying how i couldn’t afford the gas to fly daddy’s jet to the riviera this summer, and this barista totally rolled her eyes at me

Oh, the twitters, it takes all kinds!

Finally, Gruber (not MacGruber!) has made his iPhone WWDC predictions and they … well they make me very ready for WWDC and then for July. I mean, a next gen processor that he says will be like when the 486′x made the jump to Pentiums. I mean. Yes. PLEASE. Also an autofocusing camera (with video) – that would be amazing. I hope they add some more api calls to give 3rd party software maybe some more access to controlling camera functions. Man alive, I need to have that phone.
