UPDATE: Check out the live mozilla download counter. At 430k as of this moment.
Well, today is the day. Firefox 3 is out and going for a Guinness World Record for most software downloaded in 24 hours. Check out their pledge map of people who are going to download and promote this bad boy. You can [...]
Mozilla’s data project could be useful, but still biased.

Online metrics are hard enough when you’ve limited it to just a specific site with all the help the metric measurer could want. It becomes orders of magnitude harder to try and figure out this information internet wide. It seems like Mozilla is planning on stepping into that ring.

Browser Wars, part Trois
UPDATED Thu Mar 27 11:49:54 EDT 2008
Seriously man, the browser wars are getting nice and intense, just the way I like’em. Even back in the day when Microsoft was putting the kibosh on Netscape it wasn’t like this - here we’ve got 4 significant browsers all dueling to the death. Sitting on the throne is [...]

GeekFindr: Firefox, font size and close tabs
So the other day I upgraded to Firefox 2.0 - it’s actually because I found this intel specific build and wanted to try it out. I haven’t really compared it much with the regular firefox version, but it doesn’t seem to be significantly faster at first glance.
But that’s not what I wanted to talk about [...]
